Delete your DoeToch account
You can delete your DoeToch account and all its data yourself, in the app or on the website. If that does not work, you can ask by email.
How to delete your account
In the app
iPhone, iPad or Android: Settings › Account › Delete account. Confirm with your password (and your two-step verification code, if you use one).
On the website
Sign in at app.doetoch.com and go to Settings › Account › Delete account. The button below takes you there.
By email
From your account's email address, send a request to delete your account to [email protected]. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What happens
- 7 days
- Your account is first on hold for 7 days. During that time you can cancel the deletion by signing in.
- After that
- Your account and everything in it is deleted for good: tasks, projects, labels, filters, comments, reminders, attachments, settings, sessions, push tokens, connected AI assistants and your account backups.
- Shared projects you own: during those 7 days you choose for each one whether it goes to someone in it or is deleted for everyone. If you don’t choose, it goes to the member who joined it first (or, without members, the first viewer); the others get a notification. A deleted project disappears from their devices the next time they sync. Your memberships of other people’s projects end; what you added there stays, marked “Former member” instead of your name.
- Recovery copies of the whole database (in case the server fails) still contain your data for at most 7 days. An encrypted offsite copy of those is locked against deletion for 30 days (as ransomware protection), so there it is gone after just over 5 weeks at the latest. Attachments are wiped from storage within a day.
- Anonymous error reports and visitor statistics are not linked to your account. Error reports disappear by themselves, after 30 days (apps) or 90 days (web app and server).
- If you sign in with an Orim login that you also use for other apps, that login stays; only your DoeToch data is deleted.

Keep your data first?
On the website you can export everything under Settings › Backups before you delete your account. The export also contains your shared projects, and a read-only copy of projects others share with you.
